The government of Belize, as of July 12, 2021, decided to eliminate all public health measures at points of entry into the country, including by air, land and sea.

Requirements to enter the country

Visitors to Belize must have a passport valid for at least three months after the date of arrival, a return ticket, and sufficient funds to cover their stay.

The site of Cahal Pech is located very close to the town of San Ignacio, on top of a hill on the banks of the Macal River.

Xunantunich is another large site, and is located on a natural elevation on the banks of the Mopán River, near the town of Benque Viejo and the border with Guatemala.

Lubaantun

The southern region of Belize is located southeast of the Mayan Mountains, in a small strip where several rivers flow into the Gulf of Honduras.
