Climate
Belize's climate is subtropical, with stable temperatures throughout the year. The average temperature is 26°C (79°F), with high humidity.
The rains fall between June and November. The driest time is between February and May. In Belize there are many storms that originate in North America and hit Belize with winds and gusts from December to February.
In late summer and fall, Belize is prone to hurricanes. The month of August is a time without any winds, which makes the heat unbearable.
Currency
The local currency is the Belize dollar. One US dollar is equivalent to two Belize dollars and there is no fluctuation. The US dollar is accepted throughout the country. ATMs can be found in every city, and most allow credit card cash withdrawals
