Sand Island

Isla Arena is located in the municipality of Calkiní. It is a space where you can be in contact with the exuberant nature of the Celestún Biosphere Reserve of which it is an important part.

It is in its estuaries where you can see the colonies of beautiful pink flamingos that have given so much fame to this region, as well as an enormous diversity of seabirds such as cormorants, frigates and pelicans.
