The “El Remate” nature reserve is located in Tankuché, in the municipality of Calkiní, Campeche. It is a waterhole of incomparable beauty, here species typical of the mangrove are mixed with that of the lowland flooded forest in the shape of rings where small birds take refuge.
Its waters are transparent and cold in temperature, with depths ranging from 1.5 to 4m.
The place has a small community spa with a zip line and all the necessary facilities in a rustic setting.
