Only 14 miles to the north from Tikal, is located Uaxactún, which features buildings of the pre-classic and classic period, among which excels its “Group E”, which served for the commemoration of solstices and equinoxes. The Acropolis A-5 stands out as one of the first buildings investigated throughout the Maya region. A collection of archeological pieces in El Chiclero Camp are located in the village of Uaxactún.
This is a remembrance which I leave you. This shall be your power. I take my leave filled with sorrow.
