The central group consisting of three seats. Plaza A or Grand Plaza contains a row of three pyramidal buildings on its east side, with Structure 3 being the tallest on the site, at 24 m high. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also contains two ball courts, a long &quot;palace&quot; type structure on the south side (Structure 8) and an acropolis on the west side. Plazas B and C have mostly residential groups and are delimited on their southern side by the great South Acropolis, which is the largest architectural complex on the site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Towards the south is the site of\u00a0<strong>Chan Chich<\/strong>, which is located in the hotel of the same name. It corresponds to a medium-sized settlement, whose central area or Plaza A includes a ball court and large buildings such as Structure A-1.
