Mr. Noriteru Fukushima, and members of the Keidanren Japan-Mexico Bilateral Business Committee, with the purpose of strengthening the bilateral relationship in tourism, and encouraging the flow of travelers and connectivity between both countries, as well as triggering investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The head of the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur) highlighted the deep relationship of friendship between Mexico and Japan; being linked by a mutual respect for our ancient civilizations, our traditions and a great interest in our tourist attractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He pointed out that, in 2022, 52 thousand visitors arrived in Mexico by air from Japan, which represented an expense of almost 57.5 million dollars. He said that, from January to October 2023, we received 64,600 Japanese citizens, meaning an expense of 74 million dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He indicated that air connectivity between both countries is with the airlines, All Nippon Airways and Aerom\u00e9xico.
